Colby Guillory - Underwriter
Born in Louisiana and raised in Mississippi with southern hospitality running through his blood. He graduated from the University of Mississippi with a degree in Managerial Finance and Real Estate. Colby and his wife reside in Madison, MS with their two boys and beagles. When he is not spending his time with family or friends, you can find him fishing for bass or on the golf course “trying to improve that handicap”. As a graduate of Ole Miss, he loves college baseball and football – Go Rebs, and can’t leave out his love for the New Orleans Saints – Who Dat! He prides himself on giving a refreshing experience to our agents and looks forward to helping place hard to find coverage.
thomas house - underwriter
Mississippi born and raised, Thomas graduated from the University of Mississippi with his undergraduate degree, and obtained a Master of Business Administration from Mississippi College. Thomas and his wife reside in Madison, MS with their son awaiting the impending arrival of their second son, due June 2024. He enjoys playing golf in his free time and spending time with family and friends. He is an ardent supporter of Ole Miss athletics and the Chicago Cubs. Thomas seeks to provide our agents and insureds with a salutary effect with their insurance needs.
CHris ford - underwriter/adjuster
Born in Metairie, Louisiana and raised in Madison County, Mississippi, Chris was raised to radiate friendliness and warmth. He married his high school sweetheart, Courtney, and they have two children together. Chris graduated from Delta State University where he was a member of the DSU golf team. With strong family ties to LSU, Chris supports the Tigers on football Saturdays along with the New Orleans Saints on Sunday. Chris is an avid outdoorsman who enjoys hunting, fishing, and golf. He especially enjoys spending time engaged in sporting and recreational activities with his children, extended family, and friends. Chris believes in the adage to “treat others as you want to be treated” and will work hard to meet the needs of our agents and insureds.
Claire harris - In house accountant
Born and raised in Mississippi, Claire is a graduate of Mississippi State University. She and her husband reside in Canton, MS with their two boys. Outside of work, you can find Claire cheering on her boys at their sporting events and spending time with family and friends. She is happy to help our agents with any questions they may have.
Maddox moncrief - marketing specialist
Maddox was born in West Monroe, Louisiana and was raised in Madison, Mississippi. Maddox was taught to work hard and you can succeed at what you set your mind to. Maddox graduated from Germantown High School in May, 2023. He enjoys LSU football/baseball, riding dirt bikes, duck hunting, and golfing with friends and family. Maddox prides himself on being able to engage and be creative. He believes that if you choose to do consistent things that you enjoy, you will never “work” a day in your life.
C Brad moncrief - Principal
Brad began his insurance journey in 1998 after Graduating from University of Louisiana at Monroe with a BA in Insurance. Over the years Brad has sold commercial BOP policies in Metro Dallas, Underwritten Auto accounts for State Farm before beginning a career in the Surplus Lines field in 2005. Brad created Sterling Surplus Underwriters in the corner of the bedroom in 2008 with two kids in diapers, six year old and wife who was called to stay home. It was a lean time but full of wonderful memories and the foundation was prepared for a future in Private Flood Insurance.
Brad enjoys traveling with family, bread pudding, a solid round of golf with family/friends, duck hunts, LSU Sports and culinary experiences. He is having the time of his life growing Sterling through relationships, hard work and creativity.
